クラウドファーミングの語源は、クラウドファンディングから派生したもので、投資家（クラウドファーマー）がプロジェクトへ資金を提供し、その資金を投資家が興味を持つプロジェクトに投資するというスタイルを採用しています。
投資家はデジタルプラットフォームを通じて投資対象を選ぶことができ、収穫物は投資家の自宅まで届けられる仕組みとなっています。

このアイデアは、ミャンマーの農業分野にも導入することができます。
融資を受ける代わりに、農家は自分の農場を農業ベンチャーに変え、投資家（クラウドファーマー）がその株主となるのです。
